29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Flooring Line, on or about 2/23/2016: Employees are using a Leadermac Speedmac Moulder Series 923 which has the doors safety switches disconnected, employees are reaching into the point of operation to perform adjustments while equipment is running and are exposed to ingoing nip points and rotating parts. Delta Hardwood Flooring, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 956500, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/30/14, with respect to a workplace located at 210 Grove Street Boonville, NY 13309.
