OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that the employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while performing change out of a carriage car on a gantry crane.      a)  On or about March 7, 2016, the employees were in the process of removing and replacing a carriage car on the 80 foot tall Washington Iron Works Gantry Crane, Number 2, Serial Number 5470. During the operation the jack separated from the crane causing the crane to shift exposing employees to being struck by the crane.
