29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Accident prevention programs did not provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers: a) Jobsite: On February 24, 2016 the controlling employer, CSDI Construction, Inc., did not ensure that its sub-contractor protected its employees as the work site progressed and significant changes in the fall protection system were required. b) Jobsite: On February 24, 2016 the controlling employer, CSDI Construction, Inc., did not ensure that its framing sub-contractor protected their employees while working from a job-made scaffold system without a fall protection system in place and planking that was not 18 inches wide. The sub-contractor employees were exposed to fall hazards ranging from 11 feet to 24 feet on the interior of the building and 73 feet to the exterior. Note) Certification and documentation of corrective action ARE required for this item.
