OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were permitted to operate utility vehicles without wearing seatbelts : a) Chattanooga National Cemetery - On or about 5/5/16, employees were exposed to struck-by/crushing hazards when operating Toro Workman utility vehicles without seatbelts. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
