29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) J & R Slaw Incorporated: Diesel cement trucks were operated/exhausted inside buildings where employees worked indoors and these employees were not provided with training on the hazards associated with diesel exhaust exposure, as discovered on or about 05/18/2016. b) J & R Slaw Incorporated: Employees swept concrete dust that contained 10% silica (crystalline quartz) and these employees were not provided with training on the hazards associated with silica dust exposure, as discovered on or about 05/18/2016. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
