29 CFR 1910.107(d)(7): Exhaust ducts were not constructed of steel and were not substantially supported:       a.)   Champion Carrier Corporation, 2755 Kirila Blvd. Hermitage, PA 16148, East wall spray booth areas, on or about May 13th, 2016, and times prior thereto:  Employees were potentially exposed to a fire hazard in that, portions of the exhaust ducting associated with a spray booth onsite was not constructed of steel.  The exhaust ducting that was being utilized onsite was a polyethylene (8MIL) polywrap material. In addition, the exhaust was supported by ropes and bungee cords that did not substantially and securely support the ventilation duct.

Champion Carrier Corporation, 2755 Kirila Blvd. Hermitage, PA 16148, East wall spray booth areas, on or about May 13th, 2016, and times prior thereto:  The employer performed spray operations which exhausted spray booth materials/chemicals into the construction work area onsite.  The employer did not inform the contractors of the potential hazards associated with the materials/chemicals being exhausted into the contractors work area.

Champion Carrier Corporation, 2755 Kirila Blvd. Hermitage, PA 16148, East wall spray booth areas, on or about May 13th, 2016, and times prior thereto:  The employer performed spray operations which exhausted spray material/components into the construction work area onsite.  The employer did not provide the contractors with on-site access to safety data sheets during all phases of work operations onsite.
