29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.   a. Lot 35, Tillinghast Turn, Scotch Plains, NJ - Enclave at Shackamaxon  Employees engaged in residential framing activities, operating pneumatic nail guns, were not wearing protective eye equipment.  Violation observed on or about June 22, 2016  Quick Carpentry, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1120615, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on June 15, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 9 Greylynne Drive, Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a. Lot 35, Tillinghast Turn, Scotch Plains, NJ - Enclave at Shackamaxon  Employees engaged in residential framing activities were not protected from fall by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.  Employees installing joists to the second level at levels greater than 12 feet were observed walking the top plates and working at the edge without the use of fall protection.  Violation observed on or about June 22, 2016  Quick Carpentry, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1122657, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on June 6, 2016, with respect to a workplace located 125 S Van Pelt Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.  Quick Carpentry, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1130916, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on June 1, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at Woodmont Ridge At Upper Macungie, 5265 Rockrose Lane, Allentown, PA 18104.
