29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) South side of building - On August 9, 2016 employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 15 feet (one story) while disposing of roofing materials and debris at the roof edge where fall protection had not been provided.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. (a) South side of the building - On August 9, 2016, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 15 feet from the edge of the roof deck while engaged in roofing activities without the use of fall protection or a safety monitor. Roofed Right America LLC, formerly known as All American Roofing LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 977615, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 15, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 7392 Argus Dr. Rockford, IL 61107.
