29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. On 8/30/2016, employees from A C Roofing Contractor LLC were observed working on a roof of a two-story residential building located at 4001 Treeshadow Drive, St. Peters, MO. They were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. The crew lead and employee were observed on the roof of the building without fall protection, exposing them to a fall to the ground below. A C Roofing Contractor LLC was previously cited for a violation of the same or substantially similar condition of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926. 501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1092030, Citation 2, Item 1, issued on 9/23/2015, and became Final Order on 10/06/2015 with respect to a workplace located at 20 Harbor Pointe Court in Lake St. Louis, MO.
