29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe condition(s) and the regulation(s) applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazard(s) or other exposure to illness or injury: A). On or about 09/22/16, job site - North Conduit & 126th St. South Ozone Park, NY Employees were loading I-beams to a flatbed truck with a CAT 320E excavator. The rigging equipment caught the I-beam causing it slide off the truck and stuck the employee's body. The employees were not trained for performing this task. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
