29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift: On or about November 3, 2016, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 15 feet while working from an aerial lift and the employer did not ensure the employee wore the harness correctly and attached a lanyard to the basket. Maya Erectors llc was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard: 29 CFR 1926. 453(b)(2)(v) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1124418, citation number 1, item number 2A, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 04/13/2016 with respect to a workplace located at Carroll & 6th Street in Pawnee, Illinois, 62558.
