29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: a) On November 10, 2016, employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to falls of approximately 21.8 feet. Elite Exteriors, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 967661, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 24, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 404 S. 3rd St., Geneva, IL 60134. Elite Exteriors, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1158067, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 21, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 79-85 Country Club Ct., Prospect Heights, IL 60070.
