29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a. Employees installing decking at elevations of 6 feet or more above the ground are not being protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system: The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on November 9, 2016, when employees decking a 7:12 pitch roof at 155 Harlan Court, Lot 11B, Tallahassee, FL 32317 without fall protection and is exposed to falls of approximately 30 feet. Manuel Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 949104, citation number 02, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on December 10, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 2614 Opequon Bend, Tallahassee, FL 32312.
