The walking/working surface a top refuge/garbage trucks with an 8 to 12 foot fall distance was not assessed to determine hazards such as but not limited to falls and a fall protection was not developed and implemented/installed to prevent falls to the concrete floor. City Carting & Recycling, INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection 1089441, Citation 01, Item 001 and was affirmed as final order on 01/22/2016 with respect to the workplace located at 221 Old Gate Lane Milford, CT 06460.
