Employees were provided with respirators but they had not been medically evaluated, fit tested, or trained to properly wear respirators, and welders welding stainless steel were not provided with appropriate type respiratory protection to protect them from Hexavalent Chromium fume.

Northern Repair and Welding was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 924554, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 3/19/14, with respect to a workplace located at R15300 Ringle Ave. Ringle, WI 54471.
