The employer did not update the written hazard communication to comply with the Globally Harmonized System, on or about 12/21/2016.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals. Color Imaging, Inc., Norcross, GA - In the maintenance shop and the production area, several containers were observed without the proper label identifying the content and the hazards of the content. One of the unlabeled containers appeared to have Toluene, which is a flammable chemical, on or about 12/21/2016.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv): Employees had not been provided with GHS 2012 training including an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system to be used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information, and how employees can obtain and use the appropriate hazard information: Color Imaging, Inc., Norcross, GA - Employees who come in contact with chemicals including fillers, maintenance techs, machine operators had not received updated Global Harmonized System Hazard Communication training as required by 1910.1200. Some of the chemicals include but are not limited to Bontron E-85, WE-3, Ultra Fine Titanium Dioxide, and Toluene, on or about 12/9/2016.
