29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): Employees were allowed to work on surfaces which did not have the requisite strength and structural integrity:  a) Jobsite - The employer did not ensure that the employees were working from a platform that had been evaluated for structural integrity when the working surface was supported by timber that was not engineered as a structural member or braced against displacement exposing employees to fall hazards of fifteen (15) feet.  Observed on or about 21 DEC 2016.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(5): Each employee on the face of formwork or reinforcing steel was not protected from falling 6 feet (1.8 m) or more to lower levels by personal fall arrest systems, safety net systems, or positioning device systems:  a) Jobsite - The employer did not ensure that  each employee installing formwork was protected from falling approximately eight (8) feet by means of a personal fall arrest system, guardrails, or similar device.  Observed on or about 21 DEC 2016.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) Jobsite - The employer did not provide employees with fall protection, guard rails or similar device when working approximately fifteen (15) feet from the ground on an elevated walking-working surface during foundation construction.  Observed on or about 21 DEC 2016.    Real Contractors, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1125937, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 14 SEP 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 2143-49 Lombard St, Philadelphia, PA 19146.  Real Contractors, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1134031, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 11 AUG 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 116 Olive St, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
