Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer does not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which are free from the recognized hazards of combustible dust deflagration, fire and explosion which are causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: On or about December 30, 2016 at the dust collection system for the shot peening process where employees were exposed to combustible dust deflagration hazards during maintenance activities on the shot peening dust collection system.
