29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) At Lot 248 Lori Lane Opelika, Alabama: On or about January 11, 2017 and at times prior: the employer allowed his employees to walk the tops of framed walls without fall protection exposing his employee to a fall hazard of 19 feet 2 inches to the ground below. b) At Lot 248 Lori Lane Opelika, Alabama: On or about January 11, 2017 and at times prior: the employer allowed his employees to perform framing activities next to the edge of a floor opening without fall protection exposing his employee to a fall hazard of 10 feet 5 inches to the floor below. THE JAIME MARTINEZ DBA MARTINEZ CONSTRUCTION WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 897185 CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 3, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MAY 30, 2013, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT LOT 15 JEFF LINDSEY COMMUNITIES, FORT MITCHELL, ALABAMA, AND IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 910348 CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JULY 8, 2013, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT CROWN COMMUNITIES, ROOSEVELT III LOT 40, FORT MITCHELL, ALABAMA.
