29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems.    a. The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on January 12, 2017, when employees are working on a 4:12 pitch low slope residential roof and are not protected by any means of personal fall protection, guardrails or safety nets exposing them to falls in excess of 9 feet to the ground below.     R & K Certified Roofing of Florida, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1086539, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on December 24, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 95 Colchester Lane, Palm Coast, FL 32137.    R & K Certified Roofing of Florida, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 959683, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 8, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 120 Bridgehaven Drive, Palm Coast, FL 32137.    R & K Certified Roofing of Florida, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 958909, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 11, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 82 Florida Park Drive, Palm Coast, FL 32137.
