29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation and rotating parts: a) On or about 02/01/17 in the Pem area; Bracker Radial rivet machine # 582007 is foot pedal operated allowing employee's hands to be in the point of operation during use exposing them to caught between hazards and being struck by rotating parts. b) On or about 02/01/17 in the Pem area; BalTec rivet machine # 582002 is foot pedal operated allowing employee's hands to be in the point of operation during use exposing them to caught between hazards and being struck by rotating parts. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
