29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet (1.22 m) or more above the adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded by standard railings (or the equivalent as specified in 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(3) or this section) on all open sides: Hello Dolly Stage: The employees, engaged in the "tasks" of constructing the deck of the stage and standing on the unsupported edge of the same deck were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 12 feet to the concrete floor. On or about January 30, 2017, one of employees engaged in the above tasks fell approximately 12 feet to the concrete floor from the unsupported edge of the deck and sustained severe injuries from the incident.
