29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a) East side of the building, fourth floor, employees were exposed to a 31 foot fall hazard, in that, a material handling area for wood was left open sided while framing work was in progress, on or about 02/07/2017.   b) East side of the building, fourth floor, employees were exposed to a 31 foot fall hazard, in that, a material handling area for fireproofing gypsum board was left open sided while gypsum board installation was in progress right at the edge of the exterior wall, on or about 02/07/2017.   c) East side of the building, fourth floor, employees were exposed to a 31 foot fall hazard, in that, small sections of the exterior wall, about 4 feet wide, were left open-sided while framing installation was in progress right at the exterior edge of the building, on or about 02/07/2017.   d) Second, third and fourth floor hallway, at the interior of the building, employees were exposed to a fall hazard from 10 feet to 31 feet high, in that, the flooring to the hallways was not finished and was left open sided exposing employees to falling to the lower floors, on or about 02/07/2017.   e) Second floor, at the exterior perimeter of the south-east section of the building, sections between guardrail systems were left open sided exposing employees to a 10 foot fall hazard, on or about 02/07/2017.   Florida Construction Services, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 922446, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 09/25/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 1701 San Pablo Road South, Jacksonville, Florida 32224.
