29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: A.) AAH Acquisitions LLC dba All-American Hose; maintenance department - On or about 2/8/17, and at times prior thereto, Jet electric bench grinder (model BG-8) had a 1 1/2 in opening between the tongue guard and the abrasive wheel. The other side of the grinder had a 3/4 inch opening between the tongue guard and the abrasive wheel.

AAH Acquisitions LLC dba All-American Hose was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1910.242 (a)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 421043, citation number 1, item number 8 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/30/12, with respect to a workplace located at 217 Titusville Road, Union City, PA.
