In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) On or about February 21, 2017, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately two stories (22 feet) from second story top plates while performing carpentry work without fall protection. b) On or about February 21, 2017, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 10 feet from second story window/wall openings while performing carpentry work without fall protection. No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
