29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level: a) Employees performing roofing work from pitched roof surfaces were exposed to the hazard of free falling more than 6 feet and contacting lower level areas where personal fall arrest systems were not rigged to prevent these hazards. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
