29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(15): Ladders were not inspected by a competent person for visible defects on a periodic basis and after an occurrence that could affect their safe use: a- 28 Carrington Way, Marlton NJ: On or about 02/16/17 a worksite company employee was exposed to fall hazards when utilizing an aluminum extension ladder that contained visibly damaged rungs, was not set on a stable surface, etc. At the time of the worksite inspection, this ladder had not been inspected by a competent person. Condition noted on or about 02/16/17. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a- 28 Carrington Way, Marlton NJ: A company employee was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 12 feet to the ground surface below, when walking/working from a pitched roof of a residential structure while wearing a full body harness with no lanyard attached and without using the use of alternate fall protection. Condition noted on or about 02/16/17. Randall Contractor, Inc. was previously cited for a Serious violation of this Occupational Safety & Health Standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 571878, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1 and was confirmed as a final order on 10/18/12, with respect to a workplace located at 290 Staggerbush Road, Williamstown NJ. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
