29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a) In the Kitchenette/break room, a receptacle outlet was not provided with ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI) protection for personnel when the outlet was located within 18 inches of a sink, exposing employees to an electrical hazard. One feasible Means of Abatement: Install a GFCI to replace the standard outlet or series connect the outlet to the GFCI on the opposite side of the sink in accordance with NFPA 70 - National Electric Code, Article 210.8(B)(5).
