29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. a- Lot 11, Block 14.01, 16 Seva Court, Robbinsville NJ: On or about 04/05/17, company employees performing sheathing installation and other related activities were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 12 feet the ground surface below when working from sheets of plywood resting on the forks of a Skytrack All terrain fork truck Model Number 10054, Serial Number 0160035894. These employees were not utilizing any fall protection at the time of their exposure. At the time of the inspection, these employees had not received training by a qualified person regarding the recognition, minimization, elimination, etc. of hazards when using a scaffold. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
