29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch: Maintenance Squadron, Bldg. 1069: The JET 8inch bench grinder (SN. 12020558) work rest was not adjusted to one eight of inch. The distance from the abrasive wheel to the work rest measured about half inch. The U. S. Air Force, Beale Air Force Base was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 905507, citation number 03, item number 003 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/19/2014, with respect to a workplace located at17851 16th St., Bldg. 2432, BEALE AFB, CA 95903.
