29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: On or about May 24, 2017, at the above addressed site, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 14 feet 8 inches when performing roof work on a low slope roof while not being protected from falling to the lower level. Infinity Roofing and Sheet Metal, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 817602, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/01/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 2540 SE Federal Highway in Stuart, Florida.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that material safety data sheets were readily accessible to the employees in their work area during each work shift: On or about May 24, 2017, at the above addressed site, employees were using chemicals including but not limited to Peak Building Products 508 Commercial Grade Roofing Cement, Karnack Karna Klean Asphalt, and Tar Remover while the employer did not maintain the safety data sheets for those products at the worksite.
