29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: On or about June 8, 2017: a) The employer failed to properly train his employees in the recognition and the ability to minimize those fall hazards. Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 40 feet, while installing plywood straps on a new hotel building. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
