29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):  Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:      On or about May 30, 2017, at a new building construction site located at 120 S. Lincoln in Oklahoma City, OK, an employee was allowed to work on the edge of multistory building without fall protection, exposing employees to the hazard of falls.     GTO Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1185082, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on December 23, 2016, with a final abatement date of December 8, 2016, with respect to a workplace hazard located at 806 S. Meridian Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73108.
