29 CFR 1910.37(b)(1): Each exit route was not adequately lighted so that an employee with normal vision can see along the exit route: (a) Warehouse Exit Hallway: Employees were exposed to entrapment hazards in the event of a fire due to the Dual-Lite emergency lights being inoperable. (b) East Warehouse Exit: Employees were exposed to entrapment hazards in the event of a fire due to the emergency light with remote head capability emergency lights being inoperable. THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR, BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1205615, CITATION 01, ITEM NUMBER 002 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MAY16, 2017, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT - ELKO DISTRICT FIRE OFFICE, 3900 EAST IDAHO STREET, ELKO, NEVADA 89801.
