29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Masin Roofing, Inc. on or about June 14, 2017, at the address of 4068 E. Harbor Rd. Port Clinton, OH: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while performing roofing activities atop a steep sloped commercial type structure. Employees installing roofing material from atop the structure were exposed to falls up to 10 ft. to the ground below. Masin Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 553458, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 29, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 3316 Dustin Rd. Oregon, OH.
