29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative or engineering controls were not utilized: a) Taylor Pallets & Recycling, Inc., Winder, GA - An employee operating the T1 saw was exposed to noise at a time-weighted average (TWA) of 102.2 dBA, which exceeded the permissible exposure limit of 90 dBA. The exposure was derived from a sample taken over 503 minutes. Engineering and/or administrative controls had not been implemented, on or about 6/16/17. b) Taylor Pallets & Recycling, Inc., Winder, GA - An employee building pallets at station #6 was exposed to noise at a time-weighted average (TWA) of 100.7 dBA, which exceeded the permissible exposure limit of 90 dBA. The exposure was derived from a sample taken over 493 minutes. Engineering and/or administrative controls had not been implemented, on or about 6/16/17. c) Taylor Pallets & Recycling, Inc., Winder, GA - An employee operating the T4 saw was exposed to noise at a time-weighted average (TWA) of 100.4 dBA, which exceeded the permissible exposure limit of 90 dBA. The exposure was derived from a sample taken over 503 minutes.
