29 CFR 1910.1030(f)(3): Following a report of an exposure incident, the employer did not make immediately available to the exposed employee a confidential medical evaluation or follow-up including at least the elements (i) to (vi): a) On or about May 9, 2017, at the table saw in the woodshop area, the employer did not make immediately available a confidential medical evaluation or follow-up to exposed inmate employees that cleaned-up blood following an amputation. Inmate employees were potentially exposed to bloodborne hazards.

29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(ix)(C): The employer shall provide a training program to employees who have no prior experience in handling human pathogens. Initial work activities shall not include the handling of infectious agents. A progression of work activities shall be assigned as techniques are learned and proficiency is developed. The employer shall assure that employees participate in work activities involving infectious agents only after proficiency has been demonstrated. a) On or about May 31, 2017, the employer did not ensure inmate employees, that were involved in handling human pathogens, had received the proper training on handling infectious agents. Specifically, the clean-up of blood after an amputation. Inmate employees were potentially exposed to bloodborne hazards.
