29 CFR 1910.1025(c)(1): Employee(s) were exposed to lead at concentrations greater than fifty micrograms per cubic meter of air averaged over an eight-hour period: a) 44 R Elm Street, Amesbury, MA 01913, work room, On or about June 27, 2017, the employer did not ensure that employees were not exposed to lead at concentrations greater than fifty micrograms per cubic meter of air averaged over an eight-hour period. An employee conducting sanding operations was exposed to lead at an 8-hour, time-weighted average of 71 micrograms per cubic meter of air, approximately 1.421 times the permissible exposure limit of 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air. Or in the alternative: 29 CFR 1926.62(c)(1): Employee(s) were exposed to lead at concentrations greater than fifty micrograms per cubic meter of air averaged over an eight-hour period: On or about June 27, 2017, the employer did not ensure that employees were not exposed to lead at concentrations greater than fifty micrograms per cubic meter of air averaged over an eight-hour period. An employee conducting sanding operations was exposed to lead at an 8-hour, time-weighted average of 71 micrograms per cubic meter of air, approximately 1.421 times the permissible exposure limit of 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air. 29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: a) 44 R Elm Street, Amesbury, MA 01913, entire facility On or about June 29, 2017, the employer did not ensure that surfaces were kept as frees as practicable from lead dust with surface concentrations ranging from 5.72 micrograms per100 cm2 to 81.46 micrograms per 100cm2. Or in the alternative: 29 CFR 1926.62(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: a) 44 R Elm Street, Amesbury, MA 01913, entire facility On or about June 29, 2017, the employer did not ensure that surfaces were kept as frees as practicable from lead dust with surface concentrations ranging from 5.72 micrograms per100 cm2 to 81.46 micrograms per 100cm2. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d). Window Woman of New England was previously cited for a substantially similar violation of the Occupational Safety and Health standard, or it's equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1025(c) or in the alternative 29 CFR 1926.62(c)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1110636, citation number 1, item number 4, issued on March 9, 2016, and became a final order on April 5, 2016.
