29 CFR 1910.252(b)(3): Employees exposed to the hazards created by welding, cutting, or brazing operations were not protected by personal protective equipment in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.132: 29 CFR 1910.252(b)(3): Employees exposed to the hazards created by welding, cutting, or brazing operations were not protected by personal protective equipment in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.132: On or about July 3, 2017 at the jobsite located 5601 West Park Avenue, Saint Louis, Missouri 63110, employee(s) engaged in oxy-fuel cutting were not protected by personal protective equipment such as flame retardant clothing (FRC). An employee using a track burner (Victor, Denton, TX; Model: VCM 200; Serial Number: CM17847; 110 Volts AC) at the 5 Bay Burning Table sustained burns to lower extremities and hands attempting to extinguish flames on legs. The CONTINENTAL FABRICATORS, INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent 29 CFR 1910.252(b)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 994662, citation number 1, item number 4b and was affirmed as a final order on 11/17/2014, with respect to a workplace located at5601 West Park Avenue, Saint Louis, Missouri 63110.
