29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:    a) Hotel laundry room, building 3400:  No eye wash station within the work area of the laundry room for immediate emergency use was provided.  Three containers of Aqua Soil Buster corrosive chemicals and Clorox bleach were being used exposing employees to chemical or health hazards.

29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries.    a) At the Control Room:  Ansul fire extinguisher was not mounted, located and identified. Employees had to maneuver around the shop table and other equipment to get access to the extinguisher, exposing employees to smoke or fire hazards.    b)  In the Tech Room:  Class A,B,C fire extinguisher was obstructed by a Ridgid wet vacuum cleaner and other materials.  Employees had to move the materials to get access to the fire extinguisher, exposing employees to smoke or fire hazards.

29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i , nor was effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment used.    a) Upholstery Shop:  the compressed air pressure used for cleaning was not reduced to 30 psi.  The compressor air pressure gage was set to 120 psi which can force foreign matter to skin and into the blood stream. Employees were exposed to flying objects hazards.

Employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards.    b) At the Upholstery Shop area:  re-locatable power tap used for cell phone and chargers was connected from an extension cord, exposing employees to electrical shock hazards.    c)  In the Engineering work station, Lite sun re-locatable power taps were daisy chained, one re-locatable power tap was connected to the other.  Employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards.
