Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On 7/7/2017, workers employed by Martin Davila were repairing a roof of a commercial building located at 1163 First Capitol Drive, Saint Charles, MO. Mr. Davila and four employees were repairing a roof which was approximately 11 feet above the ground, without the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
