29 CFR 1926.304(i)(1):  Each circular hand-fed rip saw was not guarded by a hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw blade above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut:      (a)  Hansen Construction, Inc. at 3400 Belcaro Drive., Denver, CO 80209:  On and before July 18, 2017, the employer did not ensure that the point of operation, on the Delta model 36-725 table saw, was guarded at the exposed portion of the blade to prevent employees from having any part of their body in the danger zone during operating cycles.  This condition exposed the employees to the hazard of amputation while they were ripping planks of plywood resulting in the partial amputation of two fingers.
