29 CFR 1926.501(b)(3): Each employee in a hoist area was not protected from falling 6 feet (1.8m) or more to lower levels by guardrail systems or personal fall arrest systems:  On July 27, 2017, employees were exposed to approximately a 27 foot fall while using a hoist to bring mortar and other masonry materials to the roof and employees were not protected by guardrails or utilizing personal fall arrest systems.  PMM Global LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1109913, citation number 1, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on February 22, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 3821 N. Southport Avenue, Chicago, IL 60613.
