29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. On 7/24/2017, employees from Leonel Martinez Aragon were removing shingles from a roof of a two-story residence located at 802 Topsfield Drive in OFallon, MO. They were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. The crew leader and three employees were observed on the roof of the building without fall protection, exposing them to a fall to the ground below.
