29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: (a) On or about August 18, 2017, and at times prior, ECO Roof and Solar, Inc., as controlling employer, did not ensure that employees of Mauricio Mecgar, subcontractor, were protected from eye injuries while using pneumatic nail guns, and while working near pneumatic nail guns, without eye protection. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
