29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    On or about 8/12/17,  the employer failed to ensure that machinery including, but not limited to the Dayton Blower Motor, Model 6K197E, had adequate guarding methods in place. The Blower motor had a guard installed on the back of the unit but the openings were greater than .307 inches. The guarding is required to have openings no greater than .25 inches (1/4 inch).
