29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-sloped roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line systems and guardrail systems, warning line systems and safety net systems, or warning line systems and personal fall arrest systems, or warning line systems and safety monitoring systems: (a) 54 Pine Grove Ave, Kingston, NY, on August 29, 2017, and at times prior, employees were exposed to a 30 foot fall while replacing the roof, employer did not use fall protection, guardrails, warning lines, safety net, or any other protection.
