29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. On 8/14/2017, employees from BAM Contracting LLC were working on a residential building located at Lot 27 Chestnut Ridge Subdivision, Moscow Mills, MO. Employees were engaged in framing work on a false gable approximately 10 feet above a lower level. Employees were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. The employees were observed on the roof of the building without fall protection, exposing themselves to a fall to the ground below.
