29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  a) On or about October 4, 2017 at Lot 17, Boykin Lakes Loop, Pike Road, Al: The employer failed to ensure employees using pneumatic nail guns wore safety glasses while installing trusses, plywood siding, sheathing, and stud supports which exposed them to potential eye hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a) On or about October 4, 2017 at Lot 17, Boykin Lakes Loop, Pike Road, Al: The employer failed to ensure employees installing sheathing on a 10:12 pitch roof used fall protection which exposed them to falls 11 feet 4 inches from the eave up to approximately 35 feet over the edge.  b) On or about October 4, 2017 at Lot 17, Boykin Lakes Loop, Pike Road, Al: The employer failed to ensure employees used proper access to get to working areas in that employees were observed climbing cross bracing from the second level to the roof.
