29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  a)  At 969 West Richland Circle, Auburn, Alabama:  On or about October 19, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to operate pneumatic nail guns without eye protection exposing them to struck-by hazards.  THE JAIME MARTINEZ DBA  JAIME MARTINEZ WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 897185, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MAY 7, 2013, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT LOT 15 JEFF LINDSEY COMMUNITIES, FORT MITCHELL, ALABAMA.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a)  At 969 West Richland Circle, Auburn, Alabama:  On or about October 19, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform framing activities on top of the second floor walls without fall protection exposing them to a fall hazard of 19 feet 2 inches to the ground below.  b)  At 969 West Richland Circle, Auburn, Alabama:  On or about October 19, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform framing activities on the second floor next to the edge without fall protection exposing them to a fall hazard of 11 feet to the ground below.
